May 31, 2026"Stop at Welcker's by chance when another plan didn't work out. It is a pretty swanky 20's style throw back high-end restaurant. The service was friendly, and they had a live piano player on our stop. They have a decent drink list and they muddle their old fashioneds.fashioned. The salmon and walleye were great. The chicken and the prime were both really tasty but a little dry. The bar area looked awesome and the 3 season patio where we sat was great."

Apr 19, 2026"This is my first time in door county and I am very glad that we chose Welckers lounge for a sit down meal. The atmosphere was very calming, relaxing and slightly upscale. We ordered the Lamb and Walleye entrees and they were cooked wonderfully. We fell in love with the Chipotle butter that comes with the walleye. If you are spice averse I still believe you should give this a try! It is not spicy, it is more of the Chipotle flavor! Our food was plated beautifully and tasted amazing. The cocktails were also impressive in display! My Lychee Martini came with a bubble. I highly reccomend and I look forward to coming back. Prices are fairly high but if youre in need of a nicer night out I believe you should go here. The quality of our meal did not dissapoint."

I loved the Whitefish and the special sauce for dipping that the chef prepared with a bit of spice for extra pop. My wife loved her salmon dish. Sides were delicious too, especially the roasted carrots and scalloped potatoes. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone."

I also loved the music; it really added to the great atmosphere. P.S. I wish I’d taken a picture of the cheesecake before I ate it—it was amazing! Feb 27, 2026"Located in the Whistling Swan Inn, Welcker's Lounge had the best drinks we had all weekend! We stopped in while we were shopping the area and we have to say that we love the creative drinks (especially the Bathtub Gin cocktail), beautiful speakeasy feel, and Steve (the owner) was one of the nicest people we met during the weekend. The drinks were perfectly mixed and the food being cooked in the back smelled amazing! We will definitely be back next time to eat and enjoy the live music. If you are in the area, this place is a MUST TRY!"
